This Privacy Policy explains how BELLA Homestay handles information when this website is used and when an authorized BELLA staff member connects an official BELLA social-media account.
1. Information we handle
Depending on the feature used, we may process:
- basic account identifiers returned by an authorized platform, such as an open ID, display name and avatar;
- public video metadata and engagement information made available through the platform permissions granted by the account holder;
- OAuth access and refresh credentials required to maintain the authorized connection;
- technical and security logs needed to operate, diagnose and protect the integration.
2. Why we use this information
We use authorized social-media data to identify the connected BELLA account, retrieve its public content, analyze content performance, maintain the integration, prevent misuse and troubleshoot technical problems.
3. Authorization and access limits
The TikTok integration is intended for an official BELLA account connected by an authorized BELLA staff member. The initial integration requests only the permissions needed for basic account identification and reading the connected account's public video information. It does not request permission to publish, edit or delete TikTok content.
4. Credential security
OAuth credentials are handled server-side. They are not intentionally exposed in browser pages, public repositories or public application logs. Access to operational systems is restricted to authorized administration.
5. Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell TikTok account data. We may use infrastructure or service providers only as needed to operate and secure the integration, subject to their applicable terms and access controls. We may also disclose information when required by law.
6. Retention and deletion
Authorization credentials are retained only while the account connection is needed or until access is revoked, subject to operational backup and security requirements. Public-content metadata and derived performance records may be retained for legitimate internal analytics, audit and historical comparison. Requests concerning data associated with a connected BELLA account may be made through BELLA Homestay's official contact channels.
7. Third-party platforms
TikTok and other connected services operate under their own privacy policies and terms. BELLA does not control how those platforms independently process information.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the integration, applicable requirements or our data practices change. The effective date shown above will be updated when material revisions are published.
